BIZ Not Losing Site of Main Priorities

As a small, mostly volunteer run non-profit organization with limited funds, it is important that the BIZ carefully prioritize its strategies and budget.  With a dual mandate of physical enhancement and marketing the board makes every effort to provide a proper balance of fund allocation and programs. Over the past year we have also spent a lot of time re-evaluating our organizational structure and have made a move towards a more "hands on" role of the board.

We are excited to now be making plans for a number of larger landscaping and streetscaping initiatives that will be the best investment of our limited dollars and provide the most visual impact on the street.  This has begun with the installation of permanent planters on the St. Mary's Rd. median and the traffic triangles on Marion and Goulet at Youville, with our next focus being the entryway at Archibald and Marion.

We are proud of our long-standing record of leveraging our dollars, developing creative programming, and ensuring our role in creating a vibrant and dynamic community.
